Comment replies is a private tool used by one channel owner on their own YouTube channels. It uses the YouTube Data API to read comments on those channels and post replies the owner has approved.
What it accesses
- Public comments left on the owner's channels: the comment text, the commenter's public channel name, the video and the time.
- The owner's own channel details, used only to confirm it is signed in to the right channel.
How it is used
- Comments are used only to draft replies for the owner to review. A reply is posted only after the owner approves it.
- Comment data is kept on the owner's own computer and is not sold, shared or used for advertising.
- The sign-in tokens Google issues are stored only on the owner's computer and are used only for these channels.
Google user data
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google account permissions.
